2. What data we process and why

Management of orders, payments, deliveries, returns and guarantees: identification and contact data, address, order and payment data. Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Prescription data: your prescription data are health data. We use them solely to make and deliver the glasses you order, with your explicit consent, which you give by providing them to us for the order (art. 9.2.a GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, although without them we will not be able to make prescription glasses.
Customer service and enquiries: the data you send us by email, telephone or form. Legal basis: performance of the contract or our legitimate interest in assisting you (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR).
Marketing communications: only if you subscribe. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Legal obligations (accounting, tax and consumer law). Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

3. Recipients

We do not sell your data. We only disclose them to those who need them to provide you with the service: transport companies (for delivery), payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal (for collecting payment), hosting and IT service providers acting on our behalf, and public authorities when required by law.

If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will be made with the safeguards required by the GDPR (for example, an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

4. Retention

We keep the data for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and, thereafter, for the periods required by law (for example, six years for accounting records). Data for marketing communications are kept until you withdraw your consent.

5. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@opticathome.com or to our registered office. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the data protection authority of your country.
